21 | Herbert Driver - Assigned Pay 2 (AP2) The record is notable because it started December 31, 1917 and it makes the following references: * a notation dated March 26, 1918 is written above the words that appear to read “authy S.B.” where to the left the words Eunice Driver and the word wife are scratched off and replaced by Mrs. Jane Driver and it is noted below her name as the Children’s Guardian. The address for Eunice is noted as 528 Avenue K North, Saskatoon, SK. The date of March 26, 1918 is interesting because it is 2 days before Herbert attends for treatment for gonnorhea while in Saskatoon on furlogh. * the words Mrs. Eunice Driver amd wife are struck out and replaced under the words “Change of Address” to include Jane Driver and a notation dated June 8, 1918 includes Jane Driver’s address of 528 Avenue K North, Saskatoon, SK. * the body of the message includes a notation for April that reads “Cancelled per change in assignee”. |
